This is the letter i devised and sent to the artist Joshua Radin. It addresses what I needed to use his song for, and why I thought it would be appropriate for my music video.
By sending this letter, it first of all asks the artist if I can use this song without claiming the rights to it, or making money from it, and it is polite to ask the artist if you are actually aloud to use his music for your A2 project.
The song I am using is called 'Brand New Day' and it is by the American artist 'Joshua Radin' I am using the song throughout the entirety of my music video, and asking for the rights to do so is simply polite and I cannot get sued for doing so.
